Anyway, this is my second entry for
's contest!
This is supposed to be an Indian version of Toads and Diamonds.
Basically, a widow has two daughters, the one who looks like her late father (the one in yellow) was treated horribly despite being really nice and sweet and all that jazz. The daughter that looked like her mother was treated well and became a spoiled, proud, arrogant brat. So when the nice daughter went down to the well to get water, an old beggar lady asked for a drink. She gave the old woman a drink, who revealed that she was actually a fairy taking disguise as an old woman. Because the girl was so nice, the fairy gave her the ability to have jewels and flowers fall out of her mouth when she spoke.
When the daughter returned home, the mother was extremely happy to see that her daughter's gift. The widow figured that her favorite daughter should have a gift as well, she sent her down to the well, instructing her to be nice to an old beggar woman. So she gets down to the well, but the fairy appeared as a princess, and asked that the girl draw her a drink from the well. The daughter spoke rudely to the fairy and insulted her. So the fairy was like, "screw that" so she cursed her with the ability to have toads and snakes fall from her mouth whenever she spoke.
When she arrived back, she told her mother about the fairy cursing her. The mother, in a fit of rage threw both of her daughters out. AND THEN THEY LEARNED THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP AND THEY BOTH LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
(Actually the diamond girl gets scooped up by a prince and the frog girl dies alone in the woods but that's really sad T__T)
Anyway, I tried to make the diamond girl's clothes look discolored and I GAVE THE TOAD GIRL TWO RIGHT HANDS. SHE DOESNT DESERVE PROPER ANATOMY SHE WAS MEAN TO HER YOUNGER SISTER.

While the good sister has lotus flowers, rubies, sapphires and all types of native Indian flowers and gemstones falling from her mouth, the mean sister has pythons, cobras, frogs, lizards, rats and insects falling from her mouth.
